Atherton raspberry or wild raspberry found in the upland rainforests in far North Queensland, is a scrambling rampant dense prickly native shrub producing bright red berries, slightly larger in size not, as sweet as European raspberries in fact these little red clouds taste more like white mulberry.
You can eat them fresh (raw) or use them in cakes, jams, jellies, syrups and sauces.
