Goat’s Foot

Most people will have seen this vine with it’s purple bell shaped flowers responding to the sun. Also known as Morning Glory it is considered a pest in some areas. It is poisonous if not prepared correctly. The leaves (Heated on hot rocks and then applied as a poultice.) were used to relieve stings and bites from insects, stingrays and snakes as well as a cure for skin irritations, boils, skin infections, ringworm and haemorrhoids.
